Class 47/4 No. 47444 University of Nottingham approaches Llandudno Junction on 29th May 1987 with the 08:56 Holyhead - Euston service. The cranes in the background formed part of the tunnelling teams who were putting the A55 Conwy bypass underneath the river estuary at that time.
