SR Battle of Britain Class Pacific No. 34067 Tangmere is making a second attempt to climb Evershot bank on 17th August 2014, with the Weymouth Seaside Express. Having slipped several times on the wet rails and come to a standstill, the train backed down the line and made another run. It nearly reached the summit before coming to a halt for the second time on the approach to the tunnel. On restarting again, it completed the climb which had taken a total of two hours. Added to earlier delays, the arrival in Weymouth was 153 minutes late.
