Metropolitan Railway E class 0-4-4T No. 1 makes a spirited departure from Northfields with the 08:24 to Moorgate, on 9th August 2014. After arrival at Moorgate, the train would make three return runs to Hammersmith as part of the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Metropolitan Railways Hammersmith branch, now known as the Hammersmith & City line. Metropolitan Railway Bo-Bo electric locomotive No. 12 'Sarah Siddons' would lead the train from Moorgate with Met 1 leading the return.
