Colas Rail Freight Class70/8 No. 70809 is pictured approaching Wichnor Junction, Staffordshire on Friday 23rd May 2014 with the 12:54 Aldwarke UES to Crewe Basford Hall Sidings, which consisted of 15 empty box wagons used for the conveyance of scrap steel. It is understood this was one of the first revenue-earning workings for the locomotive which had been hired-out to Freightliner.
