Arriving across the Nene river bridge at Wansford on Saturday 17th May is Class 73 'ED' No. 73001 with its mega load during day two of the Nene Valley Railway's Spring 2014 Diesel Gala. The 'mega load' was a brace of GBRf Class 66's, Nos. 66748 & 66750 attached to the rear at Orton Mere after running onto the NVR metals at Fletton Junction on the ECML.
