Class 47/4 No. 47818 storms through Stowmarket on 15th November 2006 with an ECS working for Norwich Crown Point. Delivered new as No. D1917 to 86A Cardiff Canton on 3rd December 1965, it became No. 47240 under TOPS on 13th November 1973.The locomotive was converted to a Class 47/4 and became No. 47663 on 28th January 1987 before being fitted with long-range fuel tanks and becoming No. 47818 on 23rd February 1989. It was was sold to Cotswold Rail on 31st March 2003 and went on lease to 'ONE' Anglia. Today, the locomotive is owned by DRS.
