BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 No. 92218 approaches East Leake Station with the 14:38 London Marylebone to Nottingham Victoria semi-fast service on 20th August 1966, just two weeks before the termination of these workings. This service was running 90 minutes late due to a failure of a Black 5 and the 9F, from Banbury, was substituted. The dirty condition of No. 92218 makes an interesting comparison to preserved Classmate No. 92214 in May 2014 at the GCR in weathered (but not grimy) livery.
