A replica of the Adler locomotive designed and built in 1835 by George and Robert Stephenson in Newcastle stands awaits departure at Nuremberg Hbf on the 10th May 2014. It was delivered to the Bavarian Ludwig Railway (Bayerische Ludwigsbahn) for service between Nuremberg and Furth. Over the weekend of 10 and 11th May 2014 it operated a service between these locations via freight only sections of the Nuremberg Ring Railway.
