BR 'Western' class No. D1015 'Western Champion' climbs Dainton Bank working Vintage Trains' 'One Zulu 48' charter from Solihull to Plymouth on 10th May 2014. The train would be split for the return, with the Western taking four coaches back to Tyseley via Lickey as the 'Wetern Lickeys the Banks' charter and the main train returning behind GWR Castle class 4-6-0 No. 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe', between Plymouth and Oxford, via Bristol. The charter was run to commemorate the 50th anniversary of No. 7029 'Clun Castle' achieving 96mph descending Wellington Bank while hauling a charter commemorating the 60th anniversary of the, unoffical, 100mph run by GWR 3700 class 4-4-0 No. 3440 'City of Truro'.
