Class 47/0 No. 47295 departs Ipswich yard with a rake of flats for Felixstowe on 4th May 2000 at 13:40. The locomotive was new as No. D1997 on 3rd June 1966 to 50A York and was withdrawn in March 2002. It was moved to Brush Traction, Loughborough for partial stripping and sold to the Brush Type 4 Fund in February 2003 before the bodyshell moved to MOD Ashchurch for secure storage.Preservation did not happen however, and it was cut up at EMR Kingsbury in July 2011.
