Class 31/1 No. 31188 at York with 31271 on 25th September 1983. New as D5611 at 34G Finsbury Park on 28th April 1960 and withdrawn on 24th January 1999. Sold to the Colne Valley Diesel Group in November 1999 and moved to the Midland Railway Centre for storage before moving to Carnforth for repainting in March 2001. The 31 arrived at Leyburn on the Wensleydale Railway in October 2004.She was cut up at T.J.Thompson, Stockton in September 2008.
