North British Built (1942) 8F No. 45170 in TCDD service at Zile, Turkey on 12th October 1977. These locomotives were supplied to neutral Turkey during the Second World War but were underpowered by Turkish standards. They spent most of their working lives on shunting and trip work. This locomotive was repatriated to the UK in 2011 and is currently awaiting restoration.
