For a short while in 1986, SR King Arthur Class No. 777 Sir Lamiel ran without smoke deflectors. On 10th March 1986, it heads the 'South Yorkshireman' from Sheffield to London Marylebone as it passes Water Orton. Sir Lamiel worked as far as Saltley before handing over to BR Standard Class4 No. 75069
