BR Class 47/7 No. 47773 passes the flooded Wolvercote Common leading the Oxford to Banbury leg of Vintage Trains' 'The Chiltern Champion - Part II' charter on 9th February 2014. BR 'Western' Class 52 No. D1015 'Western Champion' was on the rear of the train and would work the train back to London Marylebone from Banbury. The train is passing the ongoing work, being performed by Network Rail, to re-instate the disused freight line and increase capacity on this route.
