Class 26 No. 26046, outside the shed building, plus three more around the fuelling point and a Class 120 DMU are stabled on Inverness MPD on Sunday 6th August 1978. Shortage of space at weekends and running lines on each side of the Depot made photography a little difficult at times but the BR staff were always very friendly towards enthusiasts. Of note are the differing front ends of the 3 Class 26 with regard to lights, headcode discs and mini ploughs.
