A view inside Hamilton DMU Depot on Sunday 2nd April 1978 shows 1 x Class 101, 3 x Class 107 and 3 x Class 116 awaiting their next duties on Monday morning. Converted when the BR steam shed closed at the end November 1962, Hamilton provided the DMU's for many of the surburban services out of Glasgow Central. Eventually replaced by second generation units and electrification Hamilton was no longer required and was closed and demolished in the early 1980's.
