Class 85 No. 85021 enters Birmingham New Street with a train from Manchester Piccadilly on 12th July 1984. The AL5 was new as E3076 from Doncaster Works on 8th October 1962 and renumbered to 85106 on 14th July 1989, being withdrawn on 24th October 1990.The 86 met its final fate at MC Metal Processing, Springburn Works, Glasgow on 20th September 1992.
