Class 37/5 Nos. 37688 and 37672 in Ipswich Lower Yard on Saturday 5th September 1998 with 6L90 Tunstead - March (Ipswich) Limestone for the nearby Sugar factory at Sproughton. The train comprised 35 MEA's and was the first Sugarstone arrival at Ipswich. This was the first revenue earning train at this location since December 1993 and the yard is now lifted and cleared ready for a new Tesco and Hotel to be built. 37688 was new as D6905 at 87E Landore on 5th November 1963 and under TOPS became 37205 and is now with DRS and carries the name Kingmoor TMD. 37672 was new as D6889 at 86A Cardiff Canton on 9th January 1964 and under TOPS became 37189 and was withdrawn in October 2010 and scrapped at TJ Thompson, Stockton in December 2010.
