In rapidly changing weather conditions, which saw high winds, heavy rain, hail and then sun just before this was captured, the Diesel Traction Groups ex-BR Class 52 Western No. D1015 Western Champion, currently on hire to GBRf, accelerates onto the mainline at Harrowden Junction working 6D02, 11:21 Wellingborough GBRF to Mountsorrel, on 20th November 2013. Unfortunately, the train was terminated at Kettering North Junction shortly afterwards due to the Western experiencing adhesion problems, which it had also experienced earlier in the day when working the loaded train from Mountsorrel.
