Class 45/0 No. 45054 approaches Chesterfield with a rake of eight Mk1 first class coaches to form the 10:02 to York on Sunday 25th September 1983. The train was 45 minutes late due to engineering works between Chesterfield and Derby, and is on the freight line due to the red flag (centre). The train passed the rear of the station then reversed into Platform 1! New as No. D95 at 17A Derby on 15th April 1961, the 'Peak' was withdrawn on 21st January 1985 after a traction motor flashover. The bogies were removed at Toton and the body was cut up by staff from V.Berry, Leicester in November 1985 before being moved by lorry to their site.
