Class 31/1 No. 31251 stands at York on 25th September 1983. Delivered new on 22nd December 1960 as No. D5679, it became No. 31251 on 1st February 1974 as part of the TOPS renumbering scheme. Having been converted to Class 31/4 No. 31442 on 10th May 1984, it was cut up at CF Booth Rotherham in September 2004.
