Two of the older Pikes Peak Cog Railway single diesel units, Nos. 9 and 23 sit outside their shed's at Manitou Springs Base Station, as two car unit No. 25 departs for the summit station and No. 19 waits to enter the departure platform on 18th September 2013. Nos. 9 & 23 are now mainly used for supply trains and engineering work on the line.
