Two examples of Victorian engineering pass at Bodmin General. Metropolitan Railway E class 0-4-4T No. 1, built in 1899, awaits its next duty while GWR Special Saloon No. 9044, built in 1881 is reversed into the station ready to form the 15:30 to Boscarne Junction during the Bodmin & Wenford Railways 'Victorian Weekend' on 12th October 2013. The GWR Saloon has been extensively restored over five years at Bodmin and was launched into traffic during the event.
