LSWR Drummond T9 Class 4-4-0 No. 30120 with the vintage train, consisting of GWR special saloon No. 9044 and BR(W) auto trailer No. W232W, passes Charlies Gate working the 13:57 Bodmin Parkway to Bodmin General during the Bodmin & Wenford Railways 'Victorian Weekend' on 12th October 2013. Built in 1881 and designed by William Dean, saloon No. 9044 has been extensively restored over five years at Bodmin and the event was used to mark its launch back into traffic. During its operational life it was used by VIPs and, although not part of the royal train, was used privately by King Edward VII when he was Prince of Wales.
