Class 47/7 No. 47709 The Lord Provost at Edinburgh Waverley with the 14:00 from Glasgow 24th October 1984.Began life as D1942 16th June 1966 and under TOPS became 47499 on 1st February 1974.Sold to Waterman Railways in May 1994 then on to Fragonset 24th January 1997 and finally to DRS.The duff was withdrawn in August 2012 and cut up at Eastleigh Works 12th September 2012.
