Class 52 'Western' No. D1015 'Western Champion' passes through Syston on 22nd August 2013 on a loaded test run, with BR two-tone green Class 47 No. 47773 in the consist as insurance. The train worked outward from Tyseley via Nuneaton, stopping briefly at Leicester and then returned via Burton-on-Trent.
