Class 40 No. D354 nears Grantham in June 1963 with the 11:40 Edinburgh Waverley - Holloway Car Loading Bay working. This was the 'Up' Anglo-Scottish Car Carrier, the forerunner of Motorail. The '40' was new on 19th July 1961, and under TOPS became 40154, being withdrawn on 10th January 1982 and cut up at Swindon Works on 25th November 1985.
