DCR Class 56/3 No. 56312 approaches Linton Lane with the afternoon Potland Burn to Kellingley colliery service, on Friday 9th August 2013. The once closed section of track linked the Butterwell mine to Ashington junction, seeing it reinstated in 2010 when the Potland Burn surface mine opened.
