United Steel Companies Ltd. No. DE5 built by the Yorkshire Engine Company in 1962 (Works Number 2791) stands at the Rocks by Rail Museum, Cottesmore, Rutland on 6th August 2013. The huge Exton Park system relied on Yorkshire Engine Company products and DE5 was one of the 0-6-0 diesel electric locomotives introduced to convert the system from steam to diesel in the early 1960รข??s. The loco is not operational but restoration is planned.
