Class 31/4 No. 31454 at Doncaster Works Open Day on the 3rd October 1987. The locomotive entered traffic as No. D5654 on the 29th September 1960 and under TOPS became No. 31228 in March 1974. Converted to No. 31454 on the 29th October 1984, it is now preserved on the Weardale Railway.
