Class 37 No. 37135 is pictured while stabled at Toton with classmate No. 37110 on 18th May 1985. Delivered new in April 1963 as No. D6835, the locomotive became No. 37135 under the TOPS renumbering scheme on 10th April 1963 subsequently was part of the Class 37/7 'Heavyweight' programme, being converted to No. 37888 on 24th December 1987. It was one of several locomotives transferred to Spain in July 2001 being numbered L31.
