The latest extension of Manchester Metrolink to East Didsbury follows the trackbed of the former Midland Railway 1902 built route from Manchester Central to St Pancras and the formation can clearly be seen beyond the tram terminus at East Didsbury. It is now a cycleway and footpath. Next stop Chinley perhaps? 23rd May 2013.
