Metrolink M5000 tram No. 3045 arrives at St. Werburghs Road tram stop with the fourth service of the day to East Didsbury on 23rd May 2013, the opening day of the South Manchester Metrolink line to East Didsbury.
Immediately east of this stop in the direction in which the tram is heading the 'Airport Line' diverges south. The Airport Line is not expected to open before 2016, the last in the present construction phase.
