Having been taken out of service, a dash to the North Norfolk Railway to obtain the spare parts needed from classmate No. 37032, resulted in No. 37003 being back to traffic on 5th April 2013, during the Mid Norfolk Railway's Spring Diesel Gala.
Here, it approaches Wymondham with the last train of the day from Dereham with DRS classmate No. 37194 for company, and Class 50 No. 50019 Ramillies on the rear of the train.
