Burnished by the late winter sunshine, the rich ochre colours of EWS-liveried DB Schenker Class 66 No. 66019, and its characteristically varied assemblage of empty hoppers, seem to blend perfectly into their environment as they pass the Three Horse Shoes signal box at Turves, on the Ely to Peterborough line, with the 6M45 Barham to Mountsorrel working on Saturday March 2nd 2013. On the left of the picture is the old goods shed that formerly served the freight-only branch line to Benwick, which closed in 1966.
