WCRC Class 47 No. 47854 speeds through Winsford with the first stage of the Shrewsbury and Welsh Borders railtour from Bridlington to Crewe on 1st April 2013. LMS Class 8F No. 48151 will provide motive power for the second stage from Crewe to Shrewsbury via Chester and Wrexham.
