Believed to be the first enthusiasts' excursion to visit south Wales in 2013 was UK Railtours 'Welsh Marches Panorama' on 23rd February 2013. It is seen approaching Abergavenny Station with 'Royal'-liveried Class 67 No. 67005 as the haulage. The working was 1Z67, the 07:30 departure from Stevenage to Hereford, where a break of a couple of hours would take place. Evidence of the height of the water table may be evidenced by the flooded troughs to the left of this image in connection with infrastructure works scheduled to take place later.
