The control of the WCML Thunderbird contract with DRS is now evident. Class 57 No. 57309 'Pride of Crewe'" sits in the bay at Stafford on 19th February 2013. It is ready to go out if a train requires rescuing, but a thunderbird loco hasn't been keep at Stafford in a few years.
