Fresh from its starring role in the London Underground 150th anniversary celebrations in January Metropolitan Railway E class 0-4-4T No. 1 returned home to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton for the first public steaming since completion of its overhaul. Seen here returning to Quainton station after a run up the short track, on 17th February 2013. Directly behind the locomotive is Metropolitan Railway dreadnought coach No. 465 on loan from the Vintage Carriage Trust at Ingrow.
