Ex Melbourne (Australia) W2 Class No. 496 stands at the Fishermans Wharf terminus on San Franciscos Route F on 6th January 2007. Built in 1928 this streetcar was acquired by MUNI in 1984 after 56 years service in Melbourne. The design is unusual in that it had central doors and enclosed end sections.
