The £5 million scheme to renew Colton North Junction S&C was carried out over the Christmas period and handed back on Thursday morning on time. Here we see jack Nos. 66, 73, 114 and 64 riding on the back of trolley No's. 50, 100, 39 and 46 on the move with a track panel from Copmanthorpe to Colton Junction on Christmas day. All track had been delivered by road in the previous couple of weeks.
