A rare sight of a Class 55 Deltic on a freight working was the highlight of a diesel gala on the NYMR in 2008. Departing Levisham on 12th May 2008 Class 55 No. D9009 Alycidon complete with a Deltic Preservation Society Headboard heads north towards Grosmont.
