Network Rail's MPV No. DR98909 and DR98959 are pictured approaching Wichnor Junction, Staffordshire on 14th November 2012. Earlier, the unit had headed northwards on the up main line before recessing on the access line to the Central Rivers Maintenance Depot to allow Cross Country services to pass on the main lines before transferring onto the down line and heading south. As can be seen in the photograph the unit is spraying the trackwork as it proceeds at a rather slow pace.
