On the 16th April 2011 LNER Class A4 No. 4492 Bittern is seen soon after departing York and passes Shipton with The Great Britain 1V railtour Day 1 en route from London to Edinburgh. No. 4492 worked from London to Tyne Yard with a water tender attached.
