Amtrak F40PH-2 No. 219 stands at Charleston, West Virginia with train 50, THE CARDINAL on Wednesday 21st November 1990. This train had departed from Chicago Union at 19:15 the previous evening and would arrive in Washington DC after a journey of almost exactly 24 hours.
