On the 15th October 2012 the first two units of London Underground C stock were sent for scrap. The two units involved, No's. 5532 and 5575, worked as Train 717 from Hammersmith Depot to Northwood No. 22 Siding on the Metropolitan Line where they were taken away by road. The first vehicle to leave was trailer car No. 6575 which is seen here on the back of the lorry turning into Green Lane in Northwood.
