A Wickham Trolley stands on display at the NRM 'Locomotion' Shildon on 8th October 2012. A railway engineering personnel carrier, it was used on British Railways as type No. 27 Gang and Inspection Trolley. Introduced in 1948, more than 600 were built by 1990, 25 of which were supplied to the MoD. One also featured in the 1966 film The Great St. Trinian's Train Robbery.
