Class 50 No. 50031 'Hood' runs back onto the stock in Kidderminster's Platform 2 on Thursday 4th October 2012. Due to the failure of Crompton No. 33108, 'Hood' was called upon as a replacement for the 09:55 departure during the diesel gala's first day. Unfortunately No. 33108 was also declared a failure and No. 50135 eventually departed with the service some 35 minutes down.
