Having worked the final 'Scarborough Flyer' on Friday 14th September 2012, LNER class A4 No. 60009 'Union of South Africa' returned to York from Crewe the following day. Here the loco is seen displayed on the turntable at the National Railway Museum on 19th September 2012.
