The Cumbrian Mountain and Coast Statesman ran for the second time in two weeks on Saturday 15th September starting from Aberystwyth and traversing both the S&C and Cumbrian Coast Lines. It is pictured crossing Lunds Viaduct north of Garsdale, backed by spectacular countryside, with West Coast Class 47 No. 47826 leading and classmate No. 47786 Roy Castle OBE attached to the rear.
